The informative conference "ISO/IEC 25000: Calidad del Producto Software, Factor clave para la competitividad de empresas y organismos" ("ISO/IEC 25000: Software Product Quality, A key factor for the competitiveness of companies and organizations"), organized by AENOR, will be held on 29 April, 2014.
The purpose of this meeting is to present the certification of Software Product Quality conforming to ISO/IEC 25000 and the process followed to obtain it, and to explain how IT departments, software factories, consultants and system integrators that offer Quality Office solutions can get ready for certification with commercially available tools. The event will also feature talks regarding the experience of several companies that have already obtained the certificate, and will discuss the benefits of such certification.
The conference is aimed to:
- Factories and software development companies that do not have expert staff on software quality evaluation and improvement and need tools and external staff for those tasks.
- Public Administrations agencies who need quality controls that allows them to verify that the software they receive meets their quality requirements.
- Software companies that outsource part of their software development processes either in the form of nearshoring or offshoring, and need to control the quality of the software they receive.
- Factories and software development companies that are interested in ensuring the quality of their products to their customers through an independent certification issued by an accredited body.
